Meet Lead Pastor: Kevin Friedberg
Kevin is living his dream of getting to pastor a church in South Wichita, which is where he grew up. When Kevin moved out during college, he vowed never to return to the south side since it was a place associated with brokenness and pain. However, the Lord had other plans and called Kevin and his family to be missionaries in South Wichita, where they moved in 2022. He has a heart to make disciples of Jesus as he empowers and equips God’s people for the work of ministry.

Kevin continues to be in awe of the Lord and His plan of redemption for South Wichita and the Nations. He longs to see God’s people living out their identity as God’s children and walking in the fullness of all God has for them. His life is living proof that God answers prayers, and he longs to see God’s church be a House of Prayer for all Nations.

Kevin, a devoted husband and father, also finds joy in the simple things in life. He loves watching the Jayhawks and Chiefs play sports, a passion he shares with many of us. He also enjoys connecting with people over coffee and lunch and doing pretty much anything competitive and active.

Meet Family Life Ministry Interim:  Kendra Friedburg

We’re excited to share that Kendra has stepped into the interim role of Family Life Ministries Coordinator for the remainder of 2025.
Kendra brings a deep passion for both kids and ministry, and she’s uniquely gifted in administration and teamwork. She’ll be working closely with Glory as they continue to serve and reach families and children in South Wichita. Kendra has a knack for finding all of the free and fun activities to do with kids in Wichita - ask her if you need any tips!
We’re grateful for her leadership during this season!

Meet our Worship / Youth Director/Mission's Director:  Mercy Masterson

Mercy began leading worship when she was 15 years old at a weekly community worship and prayer evening. From there, Mercy has continued to grow and serve in different ministries and continued to learn what it looks like to worship in Spirit and in Truth. One of those ministries was Presence Worship where she was equipped and served the last 4 years.

Mercy’s desire is to equip and mobilize all ages into having a heart of worship and prayer. This desire has led her in the recent past to missions in the Middle East where she got to study Arabic and participate in different ministry opportunities with locals. This continues to be a core motivation of Mercy’s to reach the nations.

Mercy was raised into a large family and has always had a heart for children and youth. She has served in youth groups here and children’s ministry overseas. Her heart is to disciple and also mentor young women and girls in their faith with the Lord.
Meet Carson Duba!

Carson Duba grew up in South Dakota, where his Dad has been the director of Byron Bible Camp his whole life. Now Carson is living in Wichita with a passion to see people encounter Jesus Christ and experience maximum fun!

Carson is married to Glory, and they have a baby girl named Nova. Their family is passionate about living like family with the people God puts around them by celebrating and encouraging one another daily, and walking in deep vulnerability.

Carson loves the process of things being restored or brought back to new life. He loves watching people’s hearts restored and dreams of seeing all creation restored. He also loves restoring and bringing cars, motorcycles, boats, and houses back to life. Carson will also never turn down the chance to play hockey, soccer, or spike ball.
