Missions

As a church, our motto is “For South Wichita, Sent To The World.” Our heart is to be IN and FOR  South Wichita, while at the same time continually sending people out to the nations, fulfilling the Lord’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20. If you walk into our sanctuary you will notice the flags of different countries hung all around the room. We always want to be mission-focused at SouthLife, whether that means going across the street or going across the world! We are partnering with long-term missionaries in: prayer, finances, and through sending short-term teams to various places to support and come alongside the workers on the ground.

SouthLife is sending a team to Thailand! This is SouthLife’s first time officially sending a team from SouthLife to the nations! We are so excited about what the Lord has planned for this trip and the people participating. With this specific trip, the workers on the ground are asking for a team of ages 20’s and 30’s to come and connect with their young adults and youth for outreach purposes. We will be serving at Naomi House. What is Naomi House? Naomi House is a Business and Discipleship House for At-Risk Women in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  We equip and empower women to earn a sustainable fair-wage income for a better future.
We will be going to help and serve with their business during the Christmas outreach event they do, teaching English, prayer walks, visiting the girls' and boys' juvenile halls, and sharing the love of Jesus with these women and their families!
